In this video I explain the Dos and Don’ts when it comes to microdosing psilocybin magic mushrooms.

These psychadelics can be used as a very amazing medicine for helping with mood, depression, ptsd, and even used by some professional mma and ufc fighters to optimize their performance. Check out the Joe Rogan Experience Podcast with Mushroom expert Paul Stamets.

#1 The most important thing if you are brand new to microdosing is to start on a day when you have very little or no responsibilities.

I have never heard of anyone having a problem taking small amounts, like 100 mg, of psilocybin but everyone is different so it is better to be cautious than not.

There is no such thing as as a one size fits all medicine when it comes to plants and mushrooms.

You don’t want to going to work or driving around the first few times you microdose. You want to be in-tune with your self, relaxed, and in a safe environment.

#2 Do Not microdose every day.

It is very important to take small breaks here and there.

I have a huge fan of one of the top mushroom experts in the world Paul Stamets. He says the most optimal patter for mirodosing psilocybin is 5 days on and 2 days off. You can even experiment with 4 days on and 3 days off.

Why do you want to take a break?

This psilocybin starts to build up in the body and become to stressful on the receptor sites that have to process the psilocybin. These are the same receptor sites serotonin. Your 5 ht2a receptors.

When you take time off it burns up the psilocybin in the body and takes time for the receptor sites to rest.

And like I said before everyone is different. Some people like to do 1 day on and 1 day off, but I do not like this because I like to set a strong intention for the whole week.

#3 Strong Intention

You want to set an intention when mircodosing. It can be something very simple like I want to find more joy in life.

#4 Do not take more than one capsule a day.

I like to take 100 mg to 20 mg of psilocybin when I microdose. If you don’t feel anything Do Not take more this could cause a compounding effect.

If you take more you could eventually start tripping and this is not the point of microdosing.
