Lots of people ask how much should I be consuming psilocybin mushroom for microdosing?

It also depends on the variety and species of mushroom you are consuming. I like consuming the gold teacher verity.

I did lots of research and listen to mushroom experts like Paul Staments and he recommends taking 1/10 of a gram of dried psilocybin mushroom. That would be considered 100 mg of dried mushroom. I also like to mix the whole dried mushroom in a powdered form because the cap may be stronger than the stem of the mushroom.

The point of microdosing is not to trip out. When people take what is called a Hero’s Journey Dosage, they will consume anywhere from 2 – 6 grams of dried psilocybin mushroom. This is when you would experience colours and other visuals. When microdosing we just want to take a very small amount to experience the benefits that come with the psilocybin like increased mood and better focus.

I have experimented with a bunch of dosages and my sweet spot is 200 mg of the psilocybin “magic” mushrooms of the golden teacher variety.

I will mix or what is know as “stacking” this with other mushrooms and herbs to make increase the benefits.

I will mix this with a Lions Mane Mushroom Extract powder. Lions Mane Mushroom is the only know thing that can protect, repair and even grow new brain cells. It promotes the production of something called Nerve Growth Factor. When teamed up with Psilocybin, Lions Mane can potentiate x10 fold. The Psilocybin mushroom mimics Seritonin in the brain and opens up the brain making new connections and pathways for neurons to travel to. The main psychedelic component of magic mushrooms is psilocybin, which shows promise as a treatment for depression and other mental disorders. Psychedelic effects are believed to emerge through stimulation of serotonin 2A receptors (5-HT2ARs) by psilocybin’s active metabolite, psilocin.

Lions Mane Mushroom is said to help defend the attack of MS and Save and Repair your Neurons.

The second thing I like to stack with Psilocybin and Lions Mane is Mucuna Pruriens. It is also known as the “Velvet Bean” Mucuna produces L-dopa which is the precursor to Dopamine aka that feel good feeling.

Dopamine is all about being happy.

When you have Serotonin and Dopamine in balance in the body you are FEELING GOOD!

I like to mix these 3 all together and consume them in the morning 5 days ON and 2 days OFF. It is really important to give a break in between so the psilocybin can flush out of the body or it will start to build up a tolerance. Also you don’t want to stress out the receptors in the brain.

There is tons of reaserach coming out of places like John Hopkins Research Center https://hopkinspsychedelic.org/ and the Center of Psychedelic Research at the Imperial College in London of all the amazing benefits that psilocybin can help with symptoms like anxiety, depression, ptsd etc. Psilocybin is even helping people quit addictions to cigarettes and alcohol. We are so thankful and grateful for people like William Richards & Dr. Robin Cahart-Harris leading the way in this amazing research.
