@alexaales7937 says:

the incoming adminstration – lol – they are cutting veterans benefits left and right!

@alexaales7937 says:

so many lives needlessly affected or killed only for an unjust war. if you would ask the victims of 9/11 if they wanted this to avenge their deaths i doubt they would say YES! and lets not talk about the thousands of civilian deaths in irak and afghanistan!

@marketads1 says:

The common denominator in this therapy is the acceptance that the sufferer is free to let go and not be judged. Release of ruminating thoughts that cycle nowhere, and vibrate the internal message of how bad they are, is what creates their pain.

@JohnBrewington-t7h says:

With proper guided meditation psilocybin and other hallucinogens work to confront your fears

@milascave2 says:

Under carefully controlled therapeutic conditions, I can see how psychedelic based therapies might be helpful.
But I've known traumatized war veterans who just dropped acid, or whatever, on a regular basis, on their own. And it did not seem to help them at all.
Some of these treatment programs seem pretty unregulated, so some might be helpful, some not. Or they may be helpful for some people, neutral for others, and harmful to still others. These have not been properly studied, which is partly the fault of laws regulating the studying.
By the way, MDMA (X) is not actually a psychedelic. It's a stimulant and a mild altering substance, but it does not cause the kind of dep introspection or hallucination that psychedelics do.
A friend of mine who attends veterans support groups said that the survivors of the Iraq and Afghanistan war are way more f-cked up than the Vietnam vets.
Might I suggest that we also put some research into how to avoid traumatizing our service members in the first place?

@TaunyaBrookshire-u3l says:

Mushrooms, if a intent is set, can remove alot of stress.

@ngana8755 says:

13:16 min: SGB: Stellate Ganglion Block.

@swals05able says:

I was a very lucky recipient of electric shock therapy. It changed my entire life. I would not be alive now if it weren’t for the incredibly kind doctors at Johns Hopkins and the fact that they actually gave a f about me.

@sharonanderson945 says:

We need these mushrooms and mens for veterans but also for everyone who has been on antidepressants for so many years but I want to try pscylosiban or mdma for all people who suffer . But I don't want the pharmaceutical companies to get involved and ruin things bye either changing laws and the actual mushroom therapy for money and to take over what indigenous people have been using for thousands of years!

@gourkernow5694 says:

I am interested in this field of study, having used psilocybin and mdma recreationally in my youth though i cant see how it would be beneficial without the therapy that is supposed to go with it. Not saying it can't be useful but i imagine the success rate isn't as good.

@donnaw2868 says:

These warriors protected our country from a true heart therefore the psychedelics should open their true heart to facilitate healing. Prayers for these wonderful humans.

@chandaolson3547 says:

At 54 yrs old, going to Portland OR to try psilocybin for clinical depression was the best decision I've ever made. It's like I'm finally alive! My experience was similar to theirs but I was still on an antidepressant. I also had time for thorough Integration, that is very important. It was immediately effective, and with mindfulness and self awareness, it has only gotten better.

@d3r3kyasmar says:

Respect to those who sacrifice for us.

@valkyrie1066 says:

I tried it. I can say one thing; it takes you away from your own drama for a time…from a place of more calm and logic. Detaches you a bit, so you can….look at yourself. I saw solutions to problems I've been having. You know how it's always easier to give OTHER PEOPLE good advice? To step out of yourself can be helpful at times. Oh…so that's what that situation looked like from other angles…..If it wasn't me. What would I tell that person? Combined with therapy, I've found it VERY useful for self research.

@myazdanie2795 says:

Some of these are much more unconventional and less effective than psychedelics in the long run…sad to see them grouped together

@dagabriel9416 says:

I trust a1000 year old ceremony over science and greed of capitalist medicine.
