Tamerrian Institute Martial Arts Demo | Miami Entheogenic Conference, 2023 (University of Miami)
The Tamerrian Institute is a Detroit-based academy and social welfare organization dedicated to the preservation and dissemination of traditional African martial arts and Kemetic sciences through the utilization of entheogenic technologies, urban mycology, and community education. Founded by the late master martial artist and high-dose Psilocybin pioneer Ahati 'Baba' Kilindi Iyi, the institute is now led by son of Kilindi and Tamerrian lineage-holder, Aker Ramessu Iyi. As leaders of the Detroit Psychedelic Society, the group also works bi-annually to host the Detroit Psychedelic Conference, as well as a number of other events in the Michigan area which have proven to create monumental impact in the state's decriminalization movement.

The vision of the Miami Entheogenic Conference is to create a launch pad for the Global Entheogenic Research Collaborative, an initiative designed to pioneer a true re-integration of multidisciplinary entheogenic psychedelic research into mainstream college academia through the empowerment of the grassroots community.
