2024 is the year of psilocybin. It's a mushroom, not a plant. This report is hilariously inaccurate, showing fungus that clearly isn't shrooms.

Mushrooms arent a plant booquesha.

Does it show up on a drug test? Marijuana is the easiest to spot, even weeks after using. Hallucinogens are measured in micrograms and are metabolized quickly. Perhaps the kids are just working their way around the restrictions on minor drugs like marijuana and instead reaching for more profound drugs that can't be detected. So, who really caused this mess?

Calling these "Magic Mushrooms" is sophomoric and dated. And psilocin is not the only mushroom byproduct, it's a whole class of substances. Even Star Trek is in on it!

@derekheim8172 says:

Only a quack would suggest using something randomly acquired in the woods. The segue into "benefits" of hallucinogens has no place in this storyline. Better to caution the public about experimenting with wild mushrooms, some of them are very poisonous and their appearance can vary. Experienced users won't likely share their stash much since harvesting is such a pain in the asss.
