DFA was founded in 2004 by Stella Mavris. DFA are a specialist street and hip hop dance company who cater for all ages and abilities. The name of the company is part of their ethos everyone should have the opportunity to dance. The company has been going from strength to strength winning many street dance competitions placing 7th in Europe in 2015, performances with hip hop legends Sugar Hill Gang and Grandmaster Flash and performing in Breakin’ Convention 2014. Opening their new studio in 2015 has given the company the opportunity to expand and offer classical styles and alternative classes reaching out to a wider community.
