Ironically, we have dis-qualified qualitative experience. Through cross cultural philosophies based on materialism. QUANTITY became equal to and synonymous with QUALITY in the development of human social structures. That is the root of the materialism spell. Quantity is a physical or measurable attribute of existence and quality a non-physical, non-measurable attribute of existence. When a materialistic paradigm is being experienced to it's extreme then,quality loses its "identity" as qualitative and it's values get mis-assigned. It's a potent spell, a little goes a long way. We're cresting developmentally when we begin to live with our genuine qualitative, experiential aspects as guiding values and interests rather than the mad counting , measuring and comparing of fanatical materialism. One of the purposes of deep materialist immersion is to experience, first hand and in real time, the power of measurable, physical and sequenced phenomena. The stage we play on is so far out and yeah… characterized by ironies and paradoxical thrills . Cheers Sonja!
