The Psychedelic Renaissance (CS26)
Can psychedelics, like acid and ecstasy, help treat mental illness? We seem to be in the middle of a psychedelic renaissance, when mind-altering drugs that used to be impossible to study can now be tested in patients with PTSD, anxiety, and substance abuse. Unfortunately, there’s a big challenge with these pilot studies: funding them.
This is episode 26 of Cracked Science, for January 30th, 2019.

no " ecstasy" is being trialed or researched for medicinal use, that's a street drug which may or may not contain MDMA. Also check out MAPS. If you had done your research, you'd know this.
