The way she singled out post 911 veterans really hit me. Of all our nations veterans living, WWII, Korean, Vietnam, Gulf, Cold war, and 911 yet she thinks post 911 are the only ones who could use this? Im sick and tired of everything being all about lost 911 veterans. The first time i saw this my old platoon Sergeant was terminal with cancer. He was with the 5th special forces in Vietnam and served until after the Gulf War. I had heard of a non-profit who was advertising all over the place so I reached out to them to see what they could do. When I told them be retired before 911 they told me sorry, we cant help him or his family. Ever since ive really had it with all the "post 911" crap, like all the other veterans out there are garbage. For the record, I retied from the Army in 2007, am a cold war, Gulf War, and global war on terror era veteran.
