Host Ky Dickens and Dr. Martín Polanco – founder and Medical Director of The Mission Within – take a deep dive into all things Ibogaine. If you listened to our five-part miniseries on this medicine, you’ll recognize Dr. Polanco as a prominent figure in the growing industry of Ibogaine treatment. His clinic in Tijuana, Mexico focuses on treating Veterans and first responders with treatment-resistant conditions, including mild traumatic brain injury (mTBI), PTSD, depression, and addiction.

This conversation covers everything from the science behind Ibogaine’s power to the mysterious and unexplainable journeys it takes users on. How can one plant derivative have so many uses? Where does it come from? What does the future hold for it?

@BlindfoldedSight says:

sounds like ibogain and lsd would be a good combo lol. include something that will stear the ride toward happiness and seratonin rather than depression. and also sense deprevation could probabliy bring entity encounters like normal meditation done in the right way can do.

@BlindfoldedSight says:

consciousness does not come from the brain though the brain is a perfect oporating center for the entire body. if you think consciousness comes from the brain then you arnt believing the nonspeaker who talked about plants communicating.

@BlindfoldedSight says:

what is consciousness? it is everything as it is and yet as nothing. Everything is the fully sense filled shared dream called physical reality. how else do you think materialization can be done? thorugh mastery of thought. All dimensions are born from the highest dimensions which contains the others. This is the thought/dream dimension outside of time and space, and because it is a space you can step out into giving you an external perspective of time and space, that shows us it is a greater dimension and lower dimensions come from higher ones, you get less from more. anyway, if maybe one day you will hear me. i will do great work, all in due time.

@BlindfoldedSight says:

schedule 35 mushrooms? I live in Colorado, the variation of mushroom potency is wide from 3mg per gram to 38mg per gram so its not always about weight but about strain. so saying 3.5g of hillbilly pumpkins will just be happy and not really any psychedelic effects, but if you do 3.5g of P.E. then you will be giggly and blown away by rainbow waves and inner vision.

@BlindfoldedSight says:

i know you are tired of me and don't like me Ky. My bluntness to point out cheating can be discouraging and frustrating but vital. I will continue to point to the truth like you. we are on the same team. Im sure I will see you in the long run. So much work to still do

@BlindfoldedSight says:

how beautiful is it that dreams are outside time and space, so by accessing these we can see all of time and space including through a blindfold. awaken turiya to escape samsara and achieve enlightenment. This is actually so importatnt to the point ive been making for so long. In my field people dont open windows, those are gaps in the mask that allow peeking. to actually be successful in this field and do the real work, you have to be able to bring forth dream states to waking conscious life, then you can access the kingdom within and all psychic phenomena. awaken the 4th state of consciousness future prophets.

@45png says:

The irony of the U.S. government funding Ibogaine treatment for veterans while THEY perpetuate, create & sustain war is sick. It disrespects the very peaceful/healing nature of the plant itself. They manipulate people into joining the armed forces under a false veil of 'honor' and by offering free education/jobs to desperate people to sustain causes that have nothing to do with protecting the public. To exploit Gabon for this is wrong, and to discount the inherently spiritual and cultural nature of the plant itself is wrong. The West needs to learn

@HappyCat1111 says:

The cost is $7500USD, so not accessible for most people. It’s too bad because it’s often the poorest people who have the greatest need.

@Muzefun_Sandy says:

Okay then … Schedule 35 is my next experience!

@Hamsquatch1973 says:

It’s only $15k-$25k for therapy… still pretty inaccessible for the people who need it

@nutmegnutter7234 says:

I’m impressed by the doctor having so many years experience with Ibogaine.

@stevenmiller1031 says:

Thank you for sharing.

@glanmire1 says:

Can you use ibogaine for OCD/OCPD? Can ibogaine be used as a brainhack to make you more intelligent?

@ekolder says:

Any idea how much root an elephant or gorilla has to eat to have psychoactive effects?! No chance they are eating it (if they even are) and getting any psychedelic experiences.
This stuff is evil. Leviticus 20:27

@Toddis says:

oh, i thought you'd be on Ibogaine while doing the interview

@sansabhar says:

Please, please dose tRump!

@paulbattista7736 says:
