Taking both houses won't stop Trump as long as the DoJ does exactly what Trump needs and ignores and Congressional oversight and subpoena and requests to indict.
There were predictions, when T was running for this term, that this entire term would be a revenge tour. Looks like it was predicted.
It's likely more than just the bad Trump economics. Voting for a republican is voting for an ineffective Trump rubber stamp cos republicans appear to do nothing in Washington, deferring their power to the Trump e executive. Voting something other than Republican is the only way to have the senate actually go to work and do something.
