@goodnatureart says:

I think our species is a composting species who learned agriculture after fungi got us growing. I got that idea from Merlin Sheldrake, whose book "The Entangled Life" changed the way I see our species forever.

Life doesn't really care about us being good or bad.

The fungus among us see 9 billion humans on our planet and cannot believe their good fortune. We're a king's table feasting on all the species we are wiping out with extinction. Still we should make the effort to tap into our collective awareness that shrooms facilitates and find ways to be stewards of this beautiful world instead of extractors and composters. We have a responsibility to the beauty we see to practice ahimsa, non harm as a first principle.
