Vice President Dr. Michael Usi has announced that he will not open the UTM convention due to unconstitutional actions by party members. Citing breaches of the UTM constitution, Dr. Usi emphasized that he cannot join lawbreakers. This development comes after Dr. Usi stated that UTM was formed from a coalition of Saulos Chilima’s faction, his own group, and Engineer Newton Kambala’s group.
