Why are you talking about the Fringe doctors who are opposing this and not the massive bodies of medical professionals who feels strongly that these medications are beneficial and safe and generally well tolerated (With fewer side effects than current standard of care). They're not perfect and they shouldn't be used without an abundance of caution but they really need to be put into the hands of caring practitioners.
The way the story is written is that there are "advocates" And then physicians on the other side. That does not represent the actual distribution in the field or The overwhelming amount of data.
The proposal itself has problems that are worth discussing. I have some strong reservations about the proposition itself. But I think there is nuance here to be discussed and The way this is phrase and cut does not really address the pros and cons appropriately on an even playing field.
This is their concerns. Not lowering taxes or cutting energy bills.
“Give them cake.”
First they want to legalize marijuana, then they want to legalize psychedelics, then they're also going to want to legalize the harder drugs and everyone will pay the price when they drive under the influence.
