Breakin’ Convention 2022 opened with a performance from new collective EASTablishment, a group of 12 young dancers aged 16-24 from across East London. They will perform a new work by Nicey Belgrave and Kelsey ‘Hydro’ Miller of the award-winning hip hop dance theatre company Boy Blue.

Breakin’ Convention will open a Hip Hop Theatre Academy within the new Sadler’s Wells venue in the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park in Stratford. The Academy will offer a Level 3 qualification in Performing Arts, specific to Hip Hop Theatre, pioneering as the first academy/school in the country to offer such a qualification and educational provision. EASTablishment is one of many lead-in projects that are part of the lead-up to Stratford.

Great beats, sweet moves! I love your interpretation. What is the title of this jam? I'm hoping to catch the Breakin' Convention this year in Norwich. Hope you guys are there! Greetings from Toronto. x
