@Christian-lz5bu says:

Psilocybin mushrooms saved my life honestly. They helped me see the pure beauty in life, and made me realize how dumb it would be to take myself out.

@bestclips2616 says:

Once deep in a 8g shrooms trip I was so tired I fell asleep somehow woke up with somebody else's legs lmao don't ever sleep on shrooms

@bestclips2616 says:

Had ego death on 5gs before had 20 gs and didn't even trip mushies are so interesting

@mablenay says:

"Why are psychedelics frowned upon"?
Because all too often the 'addicted' recreational 'drug addicts/abusers' use them improperly, and in the wrong set and setting, and inevitably 'freak out' on them, and then report bad trips of which others fail to understand it was the users' fault and not the visionary drugs' fault

@user-hf4kg3qo3b says:

Psychedelics have the ability to induce profound altered states of consciousness.

@dashkinblacksmith3998 says:

maybe because we give people with adhd amphetamines and it calms them giving schizophrenics psychedelics would reduce their symptoms also.

@phoebevincent8557 says:

I ego death’d, insanely humbling & amazed at what I become/saw in my mind.

@DanielJayUSA says:

I'd love to do peyote

@JacksonDavis-dw3we says:

Psychedelics have the potential to make a significant impact on mental health issues like anxiety and depression. They've been incredibly helpful for me personally.

@wishsong98 says:

"recent Renaissance of research" is such a good phrase. Immediate scratch to the alliteration itch. ❤

@user-hz2jo1gd8f says:

Psychedelics have the ability to induce profound altered states of consciousness.

@TabooRevolution13 says:

To avoid a bad trip take it in the morning not at night with vitamin C and a playlist of music to calm your nerves with some headphones and do it in nature not the city.

@swoondrones says:

Peyote is grown in Mexico, too.

@swoondrones says:

I love the colour of your jacket. Deliberate, of course.

@ioofmoore5940 says:

17 seconds into the video and I ordered the book! Lol

@thomkopal1740 says:

I appreciate Michael’s knowledge and wisdom. However, I do not think he has had the experience of smoking DMT, so I would set that particular answer aside.

@ingridsara213 says:

I have been depressed for a long time, but after taking shrooms few months ago, l feel much happier and highly motivated and my ADHD gone , lost a ton of anxiousness and had a few epiphanies about how I should live my life. I decided to buy an ounce for backup, but haven’t yet felt the need to take any more since then.

@kylegivler8372 says:

@9:50 so funny to watch this on bicycle day 🙂

@panninggazz5244 says:

A stranger told me about Pollan today….kinda out of the blue as we sat on a bench looking down towards Santa Cruz Boardwalk…..nice
