He previously supported the Beckley Foundation's Psychedelic Science and Policy Programmes.

Personally, I found my atheism re-inforced because as transformative as some experiences were, and specific details now hazy, I remember several 'oh!! so that's how that works' epiphanies.
Very interesting the analogy with Phineas Gage… Excellent exposition on the topic.
