Here's Why You Want To Know About Mushrooms and Depression

Psilocybin has been used recreationally for years and is known to broaden your thinking, relax you and amplify your emotions.
There have been studies that have shown that after only two doses of psilocybin, the person was more mentally flexible and less uptight about things. These attitude changes 7-12 months after the 1-2 doses.
There’s a real race to get this to market. The FDA granted breakthrough therapy designation in 2018 to Compass Pathways for treatment resistant depression using a range of doses. Then in November 2019, the FDA granted the designation to the company Usona Institute to treat regular depression (not treatment resistant) using a single dose.
Depression inside of bipolar disorder is different from unipolar depression. Psilocybin is being studied for the treatment of unipolar depression. We don't know what affect it will have on possibly triggering mania or psychosis. This doesn't mean that it can't help with the depression that comes with bipolar disorder, though. We’ll first have to see what side effects are associated with the drug once they have completed the trials to anticipate how it may affect bipolar disorder.

Scheduling systems are so stupid. If the government would actually listen to their own guidelines alcohol would be schedule 1 in place of shrooms

I have been depressed for a long time, but after taking shrooms few months ago, l feel much happier and highly motivated and my ADHD gone , lost a ton of anxiousness and had a few epiphanies about how I should live my life. I decided to buy an ounce for backup, but haven’t yet felt the need to take any more since then.
I never had a dad.. to you know, say, you're with some girl, what you got to do, you whip it out, you say what are we going to do about this? That's what it's about. It's a murky problem. It's a lot of things.. but for starters, I went to see a psychiatrist and I expected help and what the fuck did they do. Instead, can they reason through this. I can't believe all this, and there's no reward.
Two different treatments for depression. They sort of do almost the exact opposite thing.. One is paring down their neurosis, the other is increasing their flexibility. But still. it could be simple. Oh the problem was depression. But then still.. Oh different TYPES of depression.. Well the doctor is going to help you sort that out, that's what they do. Don't tell me STILL no. Not even a fruit cup? So what's the truth about psychiatry? Can you.. or you and the dr. pare down this problem so that it's just you. That would be the limit on how well you can do. And then understanding that, there might be another level down, you could do more for yourself than you realize. So what kind of psychiatrist are you seeing, this could never end.
But the job pays money, so at some point, the doctor probably ought to say, this tractor can't pull another foot.. but

I have treatment resistant MDD and Delusional Disorder, psilocybin helps me spot what is real and what is a delusion. It also helps me feel whole again.
Did you know that Ronald Reagan banned hallucinogens and drugs because acid and shrooms had military aged men declining to fight in Vietnam? The Government doesn't do anything for "your good" It protected itself and it's war machine.

I’ve got a slight allergy to mushrooms and wonder if I could still use them medicinally
