The UC Davis Psychedelic Summit brought together national experts to explore what the rapidly evolving field of psychedelics and neurotherapeutics may mean for neuropsychiatric and neurodegenerative diseases. These new treatment types may hold promise for anxiety, depression, substance use, obsessive-compulsive and post-traumatic stress disorders, among others. The event was hosted by the UC Davis Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences, the UC Davis Institute for Psychedelics and Neurotherapeutics, and the UC Davis Behavioral Health Center for Excellence.

do u ever wonder if using synthetic mushrooms will take away from traditional mushrooms like i find the weed now is like high thc and no cbd and the experience is not as good. or like fake vanilla vs real vanilla. also odd to me and hubris of therapists being guilds on mushrooms when basically more noob than u are. same reason i use magic mushrooms to not commit suicide.

i can honestly say i hate the word taper off. when its really u are admitted to ssri or what ever and u are coming out of addiction tho we cant say that cus that would have to be accountability and healthcare we are not gona do that. lols its pretty infuriating u guys want to patent these things like honestly if u do magic mushrooms u are so against that whole concept.

When I was kid (like 8) my dad had this garden that he said to never touch… in this garden was mushrooms and I ate 3 of them and hid upstairs, I began to shoot layers out my hands and would make like circles with my fingers and where I placed the circle over any object I could erase it and place it anywhere I put my hand over and would take the roof off and could see the stars then i could place it back.
What ever I thought about i could fester. Long story short I had the roof of my house off and looked at meteorites fall in the room and light bulbs where just disco balls of lazers.. I WILL NEVER FORGET how much fun I had all by myself…. but I thought I was crazy when I woke up the next morning.

@EdwardGodwin-fg2mt says:

Psychedelics like psilocybin mushrooms have shown a lot of promise in helping people with mental health issues.

@declanh5434 says:

Psilocybin mushrooms have definitely had a positive impact on my mental health. They've been really helpful for me in dealing with anxiety and depression.

@yoyoschmo1 says:

You just have groups of various doses and tell them some will get placebo, some micro dose, some moderate dose and some hero’s dose and placebo group may think they had a micro dose

@robertgroff2105 says:

How many times have you used Psilocybin? You can study it all you want, until you experience it yourself really don't understand it…

@ingridsara213 says:

Research has shown psilocybin to have potent to treat a range of psychedelic and behavioral disorder.

@kgbickford says:

Question for anybody that's watching this that has tried psychedelics, have any of you ever actually seen a dragon

@rosegeaber7533 says:

Please cut to the chase. Many of us could use some help with depression, anxiety and other mental health issues!

@stephanieaya3992 says:

Thank you for sharing this. I’m in Oregon and it’s legal now, but I’ve never been on psychedelics before. I’m hoping doing some thorough research will help me navigate the trip. Wish me luck!

@fredscott1002 says:

Biofeedback where the patient controls the music.

@jolantamatys2896 says:
